Amo Amo Amo Uscire con le ragazze! Ho avuto un sacco di divertimento a Montana in Woodbridge!!!

What I thought would be a nice little lunch with the girls, turned out to be a food festival!!!  It was a party at Montana’s today!!!

Quello che ho pensato che sarebbe un piccolo pranzo con le ragazze, si è rivelata un festival di cibo! E 'stata una festa a oggi a Montana!

It’s so nice to catch up with friends…I’ve known these girls since I was in my 20’s, when I used to work as a Real Estate Agent!!!   We celebrated lots of stuff today, but most of all we celebrated our friendship.

E 'così bello uscire con gli amici ... ho conosciuto queste ragazze da quando ero nei 20 anni, quando ho lavorato a fare agente immobiliare! Abbiamo festeggiato un sacco di roba oggi, ma soprattutto abbiamo festeggiato la nostra amicizia.

Everything changed when the desserts started coming out!!!   Look at us!!!  MMMMMMM   It was soooo delicious!!!  We were going crazy!!!   Lol

Now and Then    

So

, I can’t get a hold of my friend on the phone, so I facebook a message:

I miss you, I'm starting to talk on facebook now!!!  You have been replaced by a computer!!! Ciao!!!

That lead me to thinking... 

What would we do without facebook, youtube, blogger, twitter and all other forms of social media?    Would people still be as connected as before?  Have computers replaced people???

I remember someone saying to me back in about 1989 that in the future people would not talk anymore and you will be talking all on computers and everyone will be walking around with one.   “Well, how would that work?”  I asked.  “I don’t know but some rich guy in university is already working on it Patty.”   “Well, look how big this cell phone is, they should work on this first, it hurts my arm to talk and it doesn’t fit in my purse!”

Times have sure changed.  Now, instead of being on the phone all day and only speaking to 1 person at a time, I have the option to log onto my computer or turn on the cell phone and check out my email and facebook and in about 10 minutes, I get all the news and gossip I need to hear for one day!  Now I have more time for you tube, blogging, surfing the web, playing games, chatting, SHOPPING, the list goes on.  Wow, soon I won’t need any more friends!  You are being slowly replaced by a computer!!!

Mi manchi, sto iniziando a parlare su facebook ora! Siete stati sostituiti da un computer! Ciao!

 

Inizio a pensare...

 

Cosa faremmo senza facebook, youtube, blogger, twitter e tutte le altre forme di social media? La gente sarebano ancora collegato come prima? Abbiamo sostituito i computer con la gente???

Mi ricordo di qualcuno che mi diceva intorno al 1989, che nel futuro la gente non parla più e  parlavano sui computer e tutti saranno in giro con uno. "Be ', come funziona?" Ho chiesto. "Io non lo so, ma un ragazzo ricco di università sta già lavorando su di esso Patty." "Beh, guarda quanto è grande questo cellulare, loro dovrebbe giustare questo primo, mi fa male il braccio a parlare e non entra nella mia borsa! "

I tempi sono certo cambiati. Ora, invece di essere al telefono tutto il giorno e parlando solo ad una persona alla volta, ho la possibilità di aprire il mio computer o telefano e controllare la mia e-mail e facebook e in circa 10 minuti, ho tutte le notizie e pettegolezzi  che bisogno di sentire per un giorno! Ora ho più tempo per You Tube, blog, navigare sul web, giocare, chiacchierare, SHOPPING, l'elenco potrebbe continuare. Wow, fra poco non avrà bisogno di più amici!  Stai per essere lentamente sostituiti con un computer!

Si prega di notare, questo è solo una lettura divertente! Non se la prenda sul serio.

Situation at Yonge and Eglinton!!!

Girlz, the first thing I thought of was, where is my camera!!!

This is after I safely turned around and snapped away!!!

Then the super nice TTC driver saw me and everyone stopped so I can take this picture

Coming back from downtown this morning, I decided to take a different route.  “ Why do I always have to take the same streets!”   I thought.  “This time, I’ll go down Eglinton!”  Wow, what a great idea that was!!!  I was driving along, minding my own business,  listening to Slim Shady’s, ” My Name Is” on the radio really loud, when all of a sudden I see all these signs at the Yonge and Eglinton intersection that these guys were carrying.  I’m trying to read them and not get into an accident at the same time.  To my disbelief, as I get up closer to those guys, I realized that they had no clothes on, only briefs,  and it looked like to me that they were carrying a sign looking for suits to wear!  I couldn’t believe it!  I just had to turn around and take some pictures.  I think I stopped the whole intersection to take this picture.  Thank you Mr TTC driver for stopping the whole bus so I can take that shot!!!  We both had a chuckle about that!  I still couldn’t understand what the sign said but, of coarse after looking at these guys, who cares what the sign says!!!   Ladies, you just had to be there!!!  Thinking of all my “Madonna Girlz!” (my old highschool friends)

Al ritorno dal centro questa mattina, ho deciso di prendere una strada diversa. "Perché devo sempre prendere le stesse strade!" ho pensato. "Questa volta, vado giù Eglinton!" Wow, che bella idea che era!  Stavo guidando, facevo le affari miei, ascoltando Slim Shady, "My Name Is" sul radio veramente forte, quando tutto ad un tratto vedo tutti questi segni a Yonge e Eglinton che questi ragazzi stavano portando. Sto cercando di leggere e non entrare in un incidente allo stesso tempo.  Con mia grande incredulità, come guida di più, quei ragazzi, non avevano vestiti, slip solo, e sembrava a me che stavano portando un segno alla ricerca di abiti da indossare! Io non ci potevo credere! Ho dovuto girare intorno e scattare qualche foto. Penso che ho fermato  tutta l'incrocio per prendere questa foto. Grazie al Signor conducente del TTC per fermare l’autobus, per prendere quella foto! Noi due abbiamo avuto una risatina a tale proposito! Ancora non riuscivo a capire ciò che il segno ha detto, ma, dopo aver guardato questi ragazzi, chi importa cosa dice il cartello! Ragazze, dovevi essere la!!!  Sto pensando a tutte le mie "Madonna Girlz!" (le mie amiche del liceo)

So how did I get into blogging???

This all started when my niece Raquel Russo came over one day about 2 months ago.  She just finished 2 double majors in university…

Now she starts singing!!!

I'm still singing!!!

Wow Raquel, you’re smart!!!   I asked her what she wanted to do and she said that she wanted to start a blog.  I asked her “what’s a blog???” and she explained it to me.  So a blog is like an online scrapbook and a light bulb went off in my head!!!  I love taking pictures and writing about it!!!

 I tried vlogs, (thanx to my niece, Rose Russo for teaching me what a vlog is) but with all these children, it’s to time consuming for me, so blogging is ideal!!!  It’s fast and easy and I can put all my pictures up.  Also, something happened to my computer and I can’t upload all my pictures on facebook quickly, it’s only one picture at a time, and with all the pictures I take,  that’s no good for me!  So there it is, my blog story!!!  I love blogging!!!

Sunny Day, Raquel, Me and Rose AKA  The Russo's!!!

Tutto questo è iniziato quando la mia nipote Raquel Russo  è venuto qui per un giorno circa 2 mesi fa. Ha appena finito di 2 major doppie in università ... Wow Raquel, sei intelligente! Le ho chiesto cosa voleva fare e ha detto che voleva iniziare un blog. Ho chiesto "cos'è un blog??" E lei mi ha spiegato. Quindi un blog è come un album on-line e una lampadina se ne andò nella mia testa! Amo scattare foto e scrivere su di esso! Ho provato vlog, (grazie a Rosa Russo, mia nipote, per avermi insegnato cos'è un vlog) ma con tutti questi bambini, ci vuole troppo tempo per me, per cui il blogging è l'ideale! E 'facile e veloce e posso mettere tutte le mie foto su. Inoltre, è successo qualcosa al mio computer e non riesco a caricare tutte le mie foto su facebook in fretta, è solo un'immagine alla volta, e con tutte le foto che faccio, non va bene per me! Quindi questo è, la mia storia sul blog! Amo blogging!

Today is one of those days that you say,

“ this is why I love facebook!”

You just have got to love, modern technology!!!  10 years ago nothing like this was possible.  It was so hard to  stay in touch with your friends after so many years back in those days.  Now with facebook, that has all changed!   Now we reunite with friends from the past and pick up just where we left off, and you know what???  Nothing has changed, we are still those same girls that we were back in high school!!!    I love you guys!!!

Oggi è uno di quei giorni che dico,

"questo è il motivo per cui amo facebook!"

Devi amare, la tecnologia moderna! 10 anni fa nulla di tutto questo era possibile. E stato così difficile rimanere in contatto con i mie amici, dopo tanti anni in quei giorni. Ora, con facebook,  ha cambiato tutto!  Ora ci riuniamo con gli amici del passato e di riprendere dal punto dove avevamo lasciato, e sai cosa?? Nulla è cambiato, siamo ancora quelle stesse ragazze che eravamo al liceo! Vi amo ragazzi!
